Admissions criteria for applications to Pre-school and Primary One for September 2026 are now live on our website. It is important that you read the published admissions criteria for each of the Pre-school settings or Primary schools you wish to list on your application. Applications open on EA Connect at 12 noon on 7 January 2026 for Pre-school and Primary One, and we recommend you list at least four pre-school settings or primary schools in your order of preference . Online applications will open at 12 noon on Wednesday 7 January 2026 and will close at 12 noon on Wednesday 21 January 2026.
Before starting your child’s application:
- Find schools in your area
- Read the Admissions Criteria
- Check what supporting documentation is required to be uploaded with your application
- List at least four preferences on your application

Places are NOT allocated on a first come, first served basis. Schools WILL NOT consider applications until after the closing date.
